Before you start using mokapot, we wanted to share with you some things to consider in order to maximize your coffee experience.

We recommend that you put only hot water and boil your mokapot once before the first use of your mokabot, which you bought with great excitement, to maximize the coffee flavor and to get the best performance from your mokapod. In the next stage, we recommend that you follow the normal coffee brewing process, pour the coffee without drinking it once and start using it after washing and cleaning your mocha pot.

How is mokapot coffee different from espresso?

As you know, espresso is made by passing pressurized water through the coffee. The logic in the mocalot works in the same way. In espresso machines, the pressure of the water passing through the coffee is at the level of 9 bar, while the pressure is obtained at the level of 1.5-2 bar with the mocapoch. In this way, although it is similar in taste to espresso, a softer and more delicious taste is obtained from espresso.

Another issue is the condition regarding the volume of your mocabot. If your mocalot is 3 Cups, you should brew 3 Cups of coffee, and if it’s 12 Cups, you should brew 12 Cups.

You can’t fill 12 Cups of mocabots halfway up and get 6 Cups of coffee. In the mocapotta we must always completely fill the middle chamber where you put the coffee, otherwise sufficient pressure will not be achieved and the water will easily pass through the coffee and go up to the upper chamber without extracting the essence of the coffee. That is why it is necessary to fill the mokapot with coffee to the brim every time.

In the light of this information, we hope that you will have a very enjoyable mokapot experience like millions of users around the world.
