Some mornings, coffee isn't just a drink; it's a ritual. With quiet attention, you pour the water, watch the coffee blossom, focus on the aromas, and let time slow down a bit. That's precisely why the V60 brewing method is a moment of "brewed awareness."
At Imesta Coffee, we don't just roast coffee; we redefine it as a way of life. Using manual brewing methods like the V60, we invite you on a sensory journey to discover coffee in its most refined form.
What is the V60?
The V60 is a manual brewing device named after its 60-degree conical angle. The iconic design from the Japanese company Hario ensures even and balanced contact between the water and the coffee, resulting in a clear, aromatic, and layered cup of coffee.
Why is it preferred?
-
The aromas are clean and distinct
-
Possibility of individual intervention in brewing
-
A sense of ceremony and sensory satisfaction
Which Cores Are Suitable For V60?
V60 is one of the methods that best reflects the origin character of the coffee. Therefore, single-origin beans are a perfect match for this method. At İmesta Coffee, we have three suggestions specifically for this experience:
| Sunflower seed | Taste Profile | Harvest – Altitude |
|---|---|---|
| Kenya | Lemon, lime, mango – bright acidity | November–December, 1500–1600M |
| Limu | Grapes, red fruits, citric touch | November–December, 1500–1600M |
| Alto | Blackberry, spice, chocolate – balanced body | Washed, Medium roast |

-
Serve the brewed coffee and take a moment of silence to savor its aroma.
Tips
-
Water temperature: 90–94 °C (hold the boiled water for 30 seconds)
-
My grind: Sea salt fine

If the flavor profile is unbalanced: Readjust the grind or pouring time.
-
After brewing, pour the coffee into a glass carafe; temperature and taste are better preserved.
More Than a Teapot
V60 is not just about brewing coffee; it is also about staying in the moment, being patient and discovering tastes.
At Imesta Coffee, we see this method as "a conscious relationship with coffee." Tracing the soul of every bean, the traces of every drop of water...
Because good coffee is not just a taste; it is an attitude, a culture.
